My week

Hi my folks.
Been a while since I wrote last, but I have been pretty busy with my new work. I am employed at a CafĂ© Deli in heart of Brisbane, as a full time employee. It’s great fun to impress customers by remembering their names but it’s hard on my feet to stand up and down for 7 hours or more. The people I am working with are amazingly friendly, and I think I have found some great people to make friends with! :D Pretty happy about that, and there are several employees from Europe and even 2 others from Norway! We are applying for my new visa this week, so a lot of evidence to sort out this week, but I promise to write more next week.

AND my mum and Tormod will be arriving this Saturday! I am really looking forward to that! :D

In the meantime I am going to enjoy every minute of every day as I am extremely happy being with Luke. Hope you enjoy life to the fullest just like me! Write soon. xx

Hi Guys,

Not much to tell, I am working full time at a Cafe in the city, which is very hard on my feet. No wonder it is though, as the manager doesn’t follow the Australian laws when it comes to breaks. They have chosen to take out the two ten minute breaks during a 9 hour shift, so when I am working 9.5 hours, I only get half an hour break. Standing and walking for 9 hours, is very hard on mu ankle as well as my feel. On Friday, my feet were swollen and I had trouble walking.  But the people working there are great, and I can finally pay for my rent again. Not to mention the friendly customers that come in several times a day, expecting me to remember their name. I’ll get the hang of it soon J

As for my Saturday, if was amazing. Luke and I went mini shopping before hanging out with two of our closest friends. I got to hang out with Laura and her lovely son Seb at their house while Luke was at home with Grant (Laura’s hubby/ Seb’s dad). Later on the day we all got together and had dinner at the Lab, a very nice restaurant / bar. The food was great and the company even better. Luke surprised me with a hotel room, and Sunday morning he had yet another surprise, a gorgeous bracelet as you can see on the photo. I am so lucky to have Luke, he is perfect to me and I couldn’t be happier!

Love you all, write soon. Xx
