It is hard to be away from my family, now more than ever. I got the news that my grandfather has passed away the 14th of October. He was only in his 60’s but he has been ill for a long time. Growing up we were very close, he was my hero for a long time. May his soul rest in peace. (Last photo taken of me and my grandfather)It’s in time of grieve you understand how much you love and need your family, and in my case when I realize how far away they really are. I want nothing more than to be there right now. I sure am lucky though, to have such an understanding boyfriend to help me through it all. True love.

Hi Helene, So sorry to hear about your Grandfather,it is so hard to lose them. Just try to remember all the good times with him, he will always be with you because of all your memories. I know it is difficult to be away from your family right now but they all love you and I'm sure they understand. I'm so glad you have Luke to help you through this time, I believe he is very special and it means a lot to have someone who is caring and understanding. Your Grandfather looks so young yet, but we never know when it will be our time to go. I'm in my sixties also, and I know I'm on the short side of life now, but I don't dwell on it, I just try to be happy while I'm still here. Anyway,you'll be in my prayers, take care. Love, Judy
