So I know I haven’t been writing for a while, and I am sorry for that. It’s just been one of those times where I have had other things to think about than the blog. Ever since Luke proposed I have been overwhelmed with happiness and not a day goes by without me jumping of joy! I keep steering at my ring, and I love being engaged! It all feels so right!
As you know we have a date for our wedding, and a venue, and I think I might have found the dress too! Even though Luke isn’t supposed to see it, I have chosen to show you guys here (the reason is that it’s not 100% certain that I’ll end up with this exact dress, although the chance seems great!).
Isn’t this dress just amazing? I am having it made and it will be white (not champagne as in the photo).
I have also looked at a couple of bridesmaids dresses for my three bridesmaids. I haven’t decided which to go for but these are the one's I am looking at (know that the dress will be blue):

Hi Helene, don't worry about not writing more. I completely understand and it is the best feeling in the world when you get engaged. I'm just so happy for both of you,I waited a long time for this to happen,you know. I absolutely love the dress you are thinking about it is so beautiful and I can just picture you in it.
ReplyDeleteI also like the bridemaids dresses, but my personal favorite is the first one that is mauve, it is lovely. And it kinda of mirrors the wedding gowns style. If I was gonna be a bridesmaid I would be thrilled to wear that one for sure. But the others are very nice too just styled differently. I think that first one would be very pretty in blue,too. Anyway, glad to hear from you anytime and I can certainly understand why you don't have as much time for your blog. It's more important for you to spend time with Luke, he is a real gem and I am so glad you found him. Tell him I say Hello, you take care and just enjoy life. Love, Aunt Judy

I’ll write soon, got some amazing photos from a trip Luke and I took on our one month engaged anniversary, not that it was the reason for our trip, just perfect timing for a great day =)
