One of our bands on TV!

I haven’t been writing for a while, but a lot has happened. I have spent time with friends, I have packed my bag and printed out the tickets, and I’m almost ready to leave. I just need some time with my mum, and I’m picking her up from the airport in two days.  Then I’ll have some days with here before I leave to Halden on Thursday.

I’m watching a lot of TV and series and there’s a lot of love out there. Today I watched One Three Hill, which has been my favourite TV series since I was 15. Today they celebrated 14 of February, and it made me think of Luke and how he came early to Norway to spend that day with me. I like thinking of Luke while I’m watching TV but this episode made me jump, here’s what happened:

A surprise dinner was arranged with live music from a band they didn’t manage to get tickets to. It was City and Colour and he’s first song was The Girl. This is a band Luke showed me some weeks ago, and I have fallen in love with the music. Music means a lot to me and Luke and we like to send a song every now and then to let each other know that we're thinking of each other while listening to whatever song se are sending (If that makes sence?!) The Girl is my favourite song and I jumped when I heard it out of the blue. The next song, City and Colour played was The Northern Wind which is the first song I heard from it, when Luke sent it to me weeks ago.  Here’s the two so that you can listen to them, and fall in love with them.

  1. Oh, Helene you are such a lucky girl. Any guy that sends that kind of music is very, very special. I love the music, it's new to me but I really like the guys voice and just the guitar. I'm always open to new music, I think every generation has a lot of good music. I try to change with the times, but you never forget the old stuff either. Well, it won't be long now, its good that you can spend time with your mom. I know she will really miss you, but you have your own life to live and you'll be in touch a lot I'm sure. I think I will try to download this music, to add to my collection. I hope you enjoy being with your family and friends before you leave. It's good that you have a good friend there already in Australia, I'm sure she will be glad to see you. And I'm sure Luke is going to be very happy to see you as well. Keep in touch, talk to you soon. Love, Aunt Judy
