Our first travel- Byron Bay

After knowing each other less than three weeks Luke took me to a weekend trip to Byron Bay, a beautifull place south of Brisbane. On our way down we stayed at a motel, which was an upgrade for me after staying in hostels in Brisbane, Melbourne and Airlie Beach. Our day trip to Byron Bay was perfect, we looked around the place, enjoying each other company. The sun was shining as we walked on the beach looking at the sea. One of our favourite band's grew up in Byron Bay, named after one of the streets. That's why we desided to find the streetsign for Parkway Drive. Lame as one can be we posed with the sign as a proof that we had been there. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed when I saw the sign, because it was so far up to avoid people stealing it, making it difficult to pose with it. But it was awesome to have been there, knowing that Parkway Drive grew up there.

This was our first trip together and I think this was the weekend Luke realised that I love taking photos, but he didn't seem to mind. And I'm glad because anytime I want to I can look at them and remember our fantastic trip.

Both Luke and I love traveling and it was no doubt that we would travel more. But at that stage we didn't know that we would be traveling  together from then on.  I knew it would be hard to stay together because I live on the other side of the world, so we kept it to a fun level, trying not to get too attatched knowing that  I would be heading home in less than two months.
